SLV Emergency Managers, in collaboration with JPK Consulting and the Colorado Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (DHSEM), are hosting a series of 4-hour "micro-learning" courses focused on Emergency Operations Center (EOC) essentials. These courses are designed to address the distinctive challenges faced by rural EOCs.

Target Audience: This series is ideal for first responders, county government officials, and anyone involved in EOC operations. It is a must-attend for those seeking to enhance their understanding of ICS concepts in a rural context.
Prerequisites: NONE (knowledge of basic ICS principles would be helpful).
Instructor: Jeff Kolts is a police supervisor with over 20 years of law enforcement experience. He is a certified FEMA Incident Command System (ICS) Instructor. Jeff is a certified All-Hazards Type 3 Planning Section Chief under the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) and FEMA’s Master Exercise Practitioner Program (MEPP).
